Terms of Use

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using runway.ph (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). The Platform is operated by runway.ph (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a talent marketplace headquartered in the Philippines. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 who wish to participate must have a parent or legal guardian register and manage the account on their behalf using a Handler account.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

3. Account Types and Roles

The Platform supports four user roles:

• Model — Talent who create portfolios, apply to casting calls, and accept bookings from agents and studios.
• Agent — Agencies, brands, casting directors, and event organizers who scout talent, post casting calls, and manage bookings.
• Studio — Photography studios and creative spaces that offer services, manage reservations, and showcase their work.
• Handler — Representatives who manage one or more models' profiles, portfolios, bookings, and communications on their behalf.

Each account may only hold one role. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent Platform restrictions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the intellectual property of others.
• Use stolen photographs or impersonate another person.
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users in any form.
• Solicit users to transact outside the Platform to circumvent fees or protections.
• Post fraudulent casting calls, fake bookings, or deceptive listings.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools to access the Platform.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform.
• Use the Platform for escort services, adult entertainment, or any illegal activity.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload, including portfolio photos, videos, bios, and messages (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant runway.ph a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform and in marketing materials related to the Platform.

All uploaded photos are processed through automated content moderation (Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch). Content flagged as potentially inappropriate is held for manual review by our moderation team. EXIF metadata is automatically stripped from all uploaded images to protect your privacy.

Text content in posts, comments, and bios is filtered through a profanity detection system. Profane words are automatically masked with asterisks. The content is still published — it is not blocked or rejected.

6. Runway Feed

The Runway Feed allows users of all roles to share posts with up to 10 images and 250 characters of text. By using the Feed, you agree to the following:

• Posts are visible to all authenticated users on the Platform.
• Post authors may enable or disable comments on individual posts.
• Users may tag other Platform users in their posts. Tagged users receive a notification.
• The “Aura” (star) feature allows users to show appreciation for posts.
• Images may be uploaded directly or selected from your existing portfolio.
• Comments are limited to 250 characters and are subject to the same profanity filter as posts.
• Post authors and administrators may delete comments. Deleted comments appear as “[removed].”

7. Subscriptions and Payments

The Platform offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions unlock additional features such as messaging, identity visibility, casting call posting, and expanded portfolio limits. Pricing varies by role and billing period (monthly or yearly).

• Payments are processed through PayMongo and PayPal. Accepted methods include GCash, Maya, Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal.
• Subscriptions do not auto-renew. When your subscription expires, your account reverts to the free tier.
• Yearly billing provides two months free (12 months for the price of 10).
• Alternative payment via the credit system is available. Users submit proof of payment (e.g., GCash receipt or bank transfer screenshot), which is manually reviewed and approved by an administrator within 24 hours.

8. Bookings and Casting Calls

Agents and studios may book models through the Platform. All bookings include details such as date, location, gig type, rate, and usage rights. Both parties must agree to these terms before a booking is confirmed.

Casting calls are posted by agents and studios and may be open to all models or restricted to verified models. Models apply to casting calls through the Platform. Selection and rejection decisions are at the sole discretion of the casting party.

Either party may cancel a booking or casting call with a stated reason. Cancellation counts are publicly visible on user profiles.

9. Identity Verification (KYC)

Users may apply for a verified badge by submitting a government-issued ID and a real-time selfie. Verification is reviewed manually within 24 to 48 hours. A verified badge indicates that the user's identity has been confirmed by runway.ph but does not constitute an endorsement of their professional abilities or character. We reserve the right to revoke verification at any time.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Intellectual Property

The Platform's design, code, branding, logos, and original content are the intellectual property of runway.ph and are protected under Philippine intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform materials without our written consent.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, the accuracy of user-generated content, or the outcome of any booking or casting call.

runway.ph acts as a marketplace connecting talent with opportunities. We are not an employer, talent agency, or staffing service. We do not control and are not responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the Platform.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, runway.ph shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or damages resulting from interactions with other users.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile, portfolio, and personal data are permanently removed. Display names in existing reviews and messages are preserved as snapshots.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct we determine to be harmful to the Platform or its users.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
